Your regular 30-something, still fangirling over the Lego Movie and GCBC ❤. Also, lost a bit of her mind over Lifeline game series (Taylor... ❤). Big OMGCP fan. Add a bit of obsession over Josh Brolin's Cable from Deadpool 2, mix it with complete and utter infatuation with the Spiderverse movie and it should complete the picture for now.

Today’s puzzle, the final puzzle, is a festive tradition: it’s time to bust out your mnemonics and songs to try to remember the digits of pi! :)
Thank you to everyone who’s followed along with the puzzles! This stitch-a-long has been a lot of work and a great joy for me, and it’s been wonderful to see such a great response from people. So thank you! 😊
All the puzzles and solutions are up on Gumroad now; they’ll be up for free until the end of the month, at which point I’ll be combining them into a single package and listing them for sale on Gumroad and Etsy. So if there are any you missed, be sure to grab them before then!
If you’ve got a second, I made a quick survey to see which puzzles worked out best. I know which ones were fun to make, would love to know which ones were fun to solve, too. :)
Thank you all! Happy Pi Day!!
Today’s puzzle is a nonogram! A fun type of logic puzzle that fits perfectly with cross-stitch. I love solving these, and I hope you will, too. 😊
Hard to believe we’re almost done with the stitch-a-long! I made a (very, very different) first draft of it all the way back in fall 2018, but it was pretty busted. I’ve been working on this version on and off since November, and I’m still kinda surprised that it’s actually all come together. And that more than, say, ten people were actually interested in a math puzzle stitch-a-long! So thank you all for stitching along. ❤

Day 12 and 13 done yesterday - I had no time for stitching on Thursday. So… happy Pi Day (it’s already 6:50 AM here) and see you later today for the conclusion! It’s been a fun little project :) ❤
Clue twelve is up: it’s an origami pattern! Print off the page and follow the instructions to reveal the picture.
This one was a really fun challenge to design. I’m really happy with it, and I hope you enjoy it! 😊
Omg, this is amazing.
Today’s is a simpler puzzle, nestled between a few of the big and involved ones. The goal: identify which numbers are divisible by 4, 5, or 9.
I debated including a list of divisibility rules with this one, but ran out of time and ended up going without. If this one gives you grief, though, I’d do a quick google– this one ought to be possible to solve without ever having to resort to long division!

Pi Day Advent day 11 done as well! Only three more to go :)
Math puzzles? Out! Word puzzles: In!
Today’s puzzle is a crossword! It comes as a solvable spreadsheet: when you type the correct answers into the boxes, their colors are revealed. Like yesterday’s, it was fun working to get all the formatting to play out just right. :)

Day 10 of Pi Day Advent stitch-along done as well :) It was a fun puzzle and very well executed!

This one comes as both a PDF and a spreadsheet version, and the spreadsheet version will be much easier to solve! The puzzle involves keeping track of a whole list of running totals: if you’re working off of the PDF version, you’ll get a lot of practice with your arithmetic, while if you use the Excel sheet I’ve made it so it’ll do all the addition for you, so you can focus more on the logic aspect. Whichever you choose, good luck!

Day 8 is live! Another late post here, been a busy busy weekend.
We’re into the second half now! I’ve been working to try and iron out the wrinkles in a few of the last, trickiest clues, and I think they’re all going to work! I’m excited for you all to see them. 😊

Pi Day Advent stitch-along Day 8 done too, just didn’t feel like taking pictures so late at night yesterday :)

Clue seven is live! It actually did go up earlier today, but I haven’t had time to post here until now. ^_^;;
Today’s is one of the founding members of this stitch-a-long, one of the ideas that first made me go ‘hey, wouldn’t it be cool if–’. I hope you enjoy it!

@mathysphere hasn’t posted the 7th clue on tumblr yet, but they did send it out today by mail already - we’re halfway there!
Clue 6 is up! And solution 5 along with it. :)
Today’s is a set of construction instructions for a very lovely shape. Bonus points if you know the name of it! 😉

Day 6 of the Pi Day Advent stitch-along done! It’s coming together quite nicely, even though the 14ct aida I got seems to be coming apart at the holes :)
Or maybe I’m just used to 16ct or even 18ct aida and they are much more compact and keep it together better.
(This is my first and last project on a black aida tho. I can’t see a thing with background so dark, omg.)

The fifth clue is up! Time to knuckle down and do some math!
I have a soft spot for factoring quadratics. It’s always nice to watch numbers fit together beautifully. :)

Day 5 of the Pi Day Advent stitch-along and I FINALLY caught up. The grid kept taking FOREVER (and I started on Tuesday, too). Phew! That hopefully means more leisure stitching from now on, haha.
I kept the blues, just converted from DMC to Anchor (except DMC 3846, couldn’t find a good substitute, Anchor 433 isn’t close enough), as that’s my thread of choice :)
